A collection of gentle, age-appropriate skincare products formulated specifically for tweens and teens
Oh Flossy launched in 2024 a new skincare collection tailored specifically for tweens and early teens just beginning their skincare journey. The brand sought a new fresh look & feel that was trustworthy to parents, but also exciting and aspirational to a young audience.
Grafika Studio designed the new packaging for their core product line, which included a gel cleanser, hydrating moisturiser and a shimmering body custard. The packaging had to balance function, safety, and aesthetics—all while standing out on shelves and social feeds alike.
The Oh Flossy Skincare packaging was thoughtfully designed to be fun and to be feel luxe. The pump bottles were designed in 2 different colours with a sleek, matte finish. The boxes feature a holographic design, curvy lines and playful typography.
The brand required a bold and youthful visual identity that resonates with tweens and teens and the product line needed to differentiate from more mature or clinical-looking skincare brands. To achieve this I used a hand-drawn typography style that reflected positivity, energy and inclusivity.
The boxes feature large, bold product names for easy recognition. I used soft-touch finishes and matte laminate to elevate the feel, while avoiding unnecessary embellishments that might confuse or alienate a young user. The holographic effects create a shimmering, three-dimensional effect, making the boxes stand out on shelves.
The inside lid of the box includes a 7-Day Skincare Challenge, which gives tweens and teens a fun and easy way to help you establish a healthy skincare routine and see visible improvements in your skin’s appearance.
This project was a joy to execute—it required balancing playfulness with practicality, trendiness. Oh Flossy’s success shows that when you speak directly to your audience (and their parents), you can create something both meaningful as well as Instagrammable and parent-approved.
